About the Author
J. Stafford is a New Orleans native who often spends her free time lounging in a hammock with a good book, creating collage artwork, or dreaming up worlds she'd love to get lost in. She is most productive on rainy days, usually accompanied by her husband, two dogs, and a hot cup of tea.
The Vanish Act is her debut novel, shaped by her own experiences with anxiety, grief, and the quiet suspicion that the world holds more than what we can see. A former English and creative writing teacher with a background in psychology, she writes stories for the readers who have always felt like they were living on the edge of something bigger. She is currently at work on Book 2.
